Teaming Against Trauma
Teaming Against Trauma is brought to you by Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center (KPCAC). Together, we uncover how child advocacy professionals team up to fight against trauma and it's effect on children. We hope these conversations will expand your understanding of Child Advocacy Centers as well as inspire you to take actions we all can better understand trauma and prevent child abuse. If you have any questions about something we discuss or input on what you would like to hear more of, please email banderson@kayphillipscac.org.

Real Life ACEs with Angela Williams
Angela Williams gives us the privilege to learn about Adverse Childhood Experiences from her story of childhood trauma. What we can learn from Angela’s story is powerful and gives us the ability to understand trauma in a more person-centered way. Angela shares how the abuse she endured affected her childhood and adulthood years which eventually led her to seek healing. As an author of numerous books, she encourages survivors, parents, and anyone who cares for children with prevention and treatment methods to embrace resilience and determination that leads to hope & healing. Angela’s journey has set her on the path of advocacy work that she does today with Angela’s Voice. Visit angelasvoice.com for more information on her advocacy work, books, and resources. We're thankful for Angela's courage to share such a powerful testimony!
